Earn college credit as a high school student

College Credit Plus (CCP) at 51ÂÒÂ× provides participating high schools and students with a unique and sustainable way to take advantage of a rigorous curriculum through college-level courses while earning college credit. Ohio Northern offers students the opportunity to attend 51ÂÒÂ× courses on our campus or to take 51ÂÒÂ× courses from qualified high school faculty members at participating schools.
  • College Readiness Standards
    The state of Ohio requires that students demonstrate college-readiness as a requirement for CCP participation. Prospective students must meet one of the approved subtests from the table below to be deemed eligible for the program.

  • Once a student has met the college-readiness requirement, 51ÂÒÂ× will review the application for CCP admission. Ohio Northern University requires a 3.0 GPA and a 20 ACT composite score or 1020 SAT score for admission to the University. In lieu of an ACT or SAT score, a student can meet the readiness score in all areas of the ACCUPLACER for admission to 51ÂÒÂ×. (See chart above.)

    Test optional: Without test scores, Ohio Northern University will require a 3.0 GPA.

    To apply: 1) Please complete the , 2) submit a high school transcript, 3) submit test scores, and 4) print, complete and submit the mature content permission slip. The College Credit Plus application deadline is May 1.
